Colonial American Dunn Ancestry
A Comprehensive Biographical Analysis In September, 2023, my Dunn family genealogical research was published in the USGenWeb project's Families section , and three months later, I was honored to see it featured in the Genealogical Society of Rowan County Quarterly Journal , and recorded in the Digital Public Library of America . Since, I've broadened it's scope, to include John Dunn's ancestors, from Wales and Scotland . This is a reitteration of my analysis, comprising historical and genealogical evidence, to directly address claims, made in published biographies, of John Dunn, founder of Rowan, North Carolina. And, an additional chapter, on his Colonial ancestors, traces his direct lineage from Virginia, back to England, and before that, Wales.
